Ironing Service
The Cleaning Company operates a free collection and delivery service with flexible collection and delivery times to suit busy lives. All garments are carefully hand finished in a clean, smoke free premises using top of the range commercial steam irons for a guaranteed professional finish every time. We collect and deliver in Peterborough, Stamford, Rutland and surrounding areas within a 3 mile radius.
All items are returned either on hangers supplied by us or folded, if required and covered in polythene. We have typical 48 hour turnaround (24 hour for urgent jobs). We are fully insured against loss or damage (subject to terms & conditions).
How our ironing service works
Step 1 You gather all your ironing together and place it into a basket or bag. (We provide you with your own personal laundry bag complete with name tag on our second visit.) We iron everything, from bedding to underwear!
Step 2 Call 0800 171 2191 or book online - We provide weekly, fortnightly, monthly and ad hoc collections. You decide what time you want us to pick-up your ironing. Our service operates between 8.00am and 7.00pm, 7 days a week.
Step 3 One of our friendly drivers will arrive at your home at the time you requested. He/she will weigh your ironing and leave you with a ticket detailing the cost and weight of your load. Your ironing is insured the moment it is in our care.
Step 4 One of our professional ironers will examine your ironing and ensure safety instructions are adhered to. Your ironing will be carried out in a clean, smoke-free environment. Your ironing will be hung or folded as requested.
Step 5 As a BICSc qualified company, our standards are very high. We check all loads before returning to the customer. If we are not satisfied with the quality, we will redo the ironing until our high standards have been reached. Our objective is to deliver ironing which is perfect.
Step 6 We carefully package your ironing using protective garment covers and plastic crates (with lids) which help keep the ironing flat and secure. Our drivers will then return your ironing to you at a pre-arranged time usually within 48 hours from initial pickup.
Step 7 We arrive at your door with your freshly pressed ironing. Payment is then due and an invoice will be provided. We accept cash, cheques and payments online before delivery is made. You can then enjoy another iron-free period until you need us again.

Price
The price includes insurance, collection and delivery, hand folded clothes and/or hung clothes on wire hangers with plastic covers, and trouser guards.
We calculate our prices based on the weight of your ironing and we have a minimum 3kg collection and delivery policy.
Our driver will weigh your ironing and calculate the cost from the tariffs shown below.
